I got the color OC-405 which perfectly match my skintone. The SPF25/PA++ is good enough for non-outdoor activities.
According to my best knowledge, Kose Japan probably is one of the few pioneer or even the inventor of 2-ways cake. I am a lazy person and want to minimize my makeup steps on foundation during weekend. Kose, Shiseido and Shu Uemura are brands that I often purchase since my senior high school era. (coz we allow to do makeup in high school in Vancouver). Among those 3 brands, Shu Uemura offers the best sun protection (not necessary to be matched with the SPF or PA++ figures stated on the product). Shiseido offers the best prodcut package while Kose offers the best price to me.
So, I usually purchase Kose's 2-ways cake duirng the last 20 years. (yes, I'm a "middle-age" OL, ha ha!)
Just like most of 2-ways cake sold in the market, the texture of the powder is excellent. Even a think layer, it covers most of the age spot, redness, pimple, or even discoloring. Once it has already opened for a while, says 1 month or longer, the texture may not be that smooth, silk, and the concealing effect drops. It's unavoidable to most of such products in the market.
Although BB/CC cream are popular in the market, I still insist using 2-way cakes because (1) personal perferrence on powdery and matt finish; (2) price; and (3) color correcting or coverage ability.
